On April 30th, the highly anticipated 2023 U.I.M. F1 Powerboat World Championship China Zhengzhou Grand Prix came to a successful conclusion. A total of 20 F1 powerboats from 10 international teams participated, making it the highest-level water sports event held in Zhengzhou. CWVS's concierge team was invited to take charge of the event's etiquette reception work and showcased the beauty of CWVS's high-level services to over 100 countries and regions.
The event was hosted by the International Powerboating Federation, and was co-sponsored by the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sports of China, the Chinese Water Skiing, Diving and Powerboating Federation, Henan Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government.
This competition is the first stop of the F1 Powerboat World Championship's return to China after a three-year hiatus. The event was broadcasted to over 100 countries and regions, with 20 international top-level racers from Portugal, Sweden, Norway, and other countries and regions holding F1 powerboat "super licenses" and forming 10 international teams to participate in the competition.
High-standard international events have extremely rigorous standards for on-site service and reception. With the experience gained from lots of national-level events on multiple occasions, the CWVS team stood out and was favored by the event organizers. They provided guidance and reception services for national leaders, sports associations, and other guests on both sides of the racecourse, as well as reception services for the opening ceremony, award ceremony, flag presentation ceremony, and thank-you banquet.
At the event site, the CWVS team's stunning figures shuttled through different race zones, as a world-class speed motorcycle race heated up between the top riders. The smiling faces of the audience and the elegant posture of the reception team complemented each other.
Behind the professional services provided by the CWVS team are days of rigorous training and the highest service standards. Upon receiving the reception task, a work group is quickly formed, and reception backbone talents are comprehensively matched according to the event's needs, considering that this is an international event, with a special emphasis on the bilingual communication skills of the reception personnel.
After multiple rounds of selection and assessment, the final event service personnel were selected from more than 100 receptionists. They quickly entered a two-day closed special empowerment training program, strengthening their training in basic image building, service etiquette, foreign-related services, scenario simulations, emergency medical knowledge, English speaking skills, and other aspects, scrutinizing every detail to ensure the perfect presentation of the event reception team on-site.
For the CWVS team, serving such an international event is not only a test but also of extraordinary significance.
